Paneer babycorn lollipop is an awesome vegetarian starter. Should only non-vegetarians have lollipop? cant vegetarians have one? This recipe is an interesting answer to that question :)  
Paneer and babycorn are favourites for most of us, this recipe is a combo of both of our favourites.  This delicious crispy starter is an excellent evening time snack.It is best to be served with Mint Chutney and for children serve it with any sauce tomato sauce/Dates sauce.




With no further ado lets get into the Restaurant style lollipop in typical home style.

OIL - ¼ LITER
GRATED PANEER – ½ CUP
BABYCORN – 13 NOS
BOILED POTATOES – 4 NOS
GREEN CHILLI – 2 NOS
RED CHILLI POWDER – 1 TSPN
GINGER GARLIC PASTE – 1 TSP
ASFOEDITA – ¼ TSPN
CORNFLOUR | MAIDA  – 1 TBLSPN
TURMERIC POWDER – ¼ TSPN
WHEAT BREAD CRUMBS – 1 TBLSPN
RICE FLOUR – 1 TBLSPN
SALT - TO TASTE

RUSTING LOLLIPOP

WHEAT BREAD CRUMBS – 1 CUP
RICE FLOUR – 2 TBSPLN


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Boil the Potatoes and peel it. Grate the paneer. Grind ginger garlic to a paste if you dont have one.

2.Finely chop green chillies, split the baby corn into half if it is big otherwise don’t cut it.
Add Mashed potatoes, grated paneer, green chillies, ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,asafoedita and mix it well.

3. Then add the cornflour, rice flour,wheat bread crumbs and mix it if required sprinkle water and mix it as thick dough as shown below
Take a ball size dough and roll it around the baby corn like lollipop as below. You can either make it round or cylinder shape

4. Take a bowl and mix the rice flour with water and make it like bajji batter, then take ½ cup of bread crumbs in a plate (Add the next ½ cup of bread as per need)
First dip the lollipop in the rice batter see to that it is coated well as below. Then dust it in bread crumbs as below.

5. Heat oil in a frying pan, once oil is hot drop three lollipops(If your kadai is wide) at a time and deep fry it

 6. Fry it till both side become golden brown color and remove it place in the tissue for the extra oil to be removed.
